Evimed 60mg/tab by Deus Medical is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) used to prevent and treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. It mimics estrogen's positive effects on bone density while blocking estrogen in breast and uterine tissues, helping to reduce the risk of fractures and estrogen-related cancers.

This product is typically used by postmenopausal women to maintain bone strength and lower the risk of spinal fractures. It is also valued for its potential to reduce the risk of hormone-positive breast cancer in women at risk.

Unlike traditional hormone replacement therapy, Raloxifene selectively targets estrogen receptors, providing bone-protective benefits without increasing the risk of uterine cancer.

Not recommended for men or premenopausal women, and should not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

The standard dosage is 60mg once daily, taken with or without food. It is important to maintain adequate calcium and vitamin D intake while using this medication. Side effects may include hot flashes, leg cramps, or an increased risk of blood clots. Regular check-ups are advised.
