DHT Control for Hair Loss & Hormonal Balance 

Finasteride is a potent 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that blocks the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone linked to hair loss (androgenic alopecia) and prostate enlargement (BPH). It helps preserve hair follicles by lowering DHT levels and is often used for male pattern baldness prevention and prostate health support.

Athletes and bodybuilders often use Finasteride on-cycle or during post-cycle therapy (PCT) to counteract the DHT-related side effects of anabolic steroids, such as hair thinning, scalp irritation, and prostate sensitivity. It does not impact anabolic results but helps protect against hair loss, especially when using DHT-derived steroids like Testosterone, Trenbolone, Masteron, or DHT-based orals.

Finasteride is commonly combined with:

- Nandrolone (Deca): to reduce DHT buildup and avoid scalp shedding

- Testosterone (Cypionate, Enanthate): to balance androgens and estrogenic effects

- PCT products like Clomid or Tamoxifen: to restore natural testosterone and maintain hair integrity

Dosage & Use by Men and Women:

Men (Athletes/Bodybuilders): 1–5?mg/day depending on the goal. 1?mg/day is typical for hair preservation. 5?mg/day is used for more aggressive DHT control or for BPH. Cycles last 8–16 weeks or longer depending on androgenic load.

Women: Generally not recommended, especially during pregnancy due to potential birth defects. However, in rare female androgenic alopecia cases (under strict medical supervision), lower doses like 0.25–1?mg/day may be used.
